Videographer & Photographer

Job Description:


We’re looking for a talented videographer and photographer to join our busy in-house marketing team. You will be responsible for the production and delivery of photography and video output across multiple online and offline channels. You will have a genuine passion for video technology and photography and will compose, shoot and edit a wide variety of imagery and video content to help project a consistent and coherent brand image. This is a fast-paced role in a vibrant, innovative department and fast-growing family business, with opportunity for progression.

Responsibilities
– Responsible for creation of the B2C and B2B video and photography content schedule ensuring it is aligned with business priorities and commercial benefit where applicable
– Creating and planning visual marketing content to go out across social media platforms, websites and email marketing campaigns. This includes photography for all brands, graphics, online assets as well as video creation (filming and editing)
– Work with stakeholders to manage efficient briefing process for video and photography requests
– Storyboarding and scripting process providing creative input
– Source suitable props and location in line with brief and support from teams
– Work with heads of department and marketing team on creative and innovative ideas for video and photography content in line with strategy and wider business objectives
– Reporting on video performance metrics and providing recommendations to managers
– Act as in-house video and photography expert, keeping abreast of trends, technologies and innovations to ensure optimum quality and execution
– This role will involve travel to auction sites nationwide – all travelling expenses paid for by the company

Skills and experience
– Degree/qualification in video production, photography and digital media or equivalent experience
– Two years professional experience working in a business environment either in-house or agency side.
– Strong Abode CC knowledge, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Premier. Experience of working in After Effects would be advantageous
– Proficient in photography for both print and digital with experience of working with DSLR camera and preferable drones
– Strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as PPC, Content, Social Media & Email Marketing and how digital content can enhance performance and engagement.
– Excellent understanding of video compression and optimisation for web video.
– An outstanding portfolio, showcasing finished work and the case studies behind that will help demonstrate this.
– A professional approach to work with high quality and consistency in all aspects of this role. You will be a self-starter and able to drive change to improve all aspects of our photography and videography
– Team player, with a track record of building strong key stakeholder relationships
– Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
– Genuine passion for video technology, photography, content and marketing
– A driving license is essential for this role

Auction Porter – Night Shift

Job Description:


We are hiring for a night shift auction porter. Our auction porter will be expected to provide front line support for the handling of auction assets from vendors to final dispatch to customers.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • At all times, actively uphold all on site policies, specifically those related to Health, Safety and Environmental and to GDPR
  • The off-loading of all vendor assets upon delivery to site, taking into account any associated risk assessments
  • The processing of all vendor assets prior to auction including:-
  • Stock-listing
  • Photographing Stock
  • Inputting Lot Descriptors
  • Setting Up of the Sales Room for viewing
  • Overseeing customer viewing sessions and providing assistance where necessary
  • Identification of stock from customer invoice and handing out to Customer including loading where required.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and inviting Sale Room
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by line management.

Responsibilities:

Vehicles Telemarketing Executive

Hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

John Pye & Sons are looking to recruit an experienced Used Vehicles Telemarketing Executive to take responsibility for developing the continued growth of its Vehicles Division. The role has two specific functions:

1) Supporting the Private and Trade Vehicles team with identifying and contacting potential vendors to introduce to John Pye & Sons
2) Marketing and contacting potential buyers to promote specific vehicles sourced by the Business Assets, Seized, and Private and Trade Vehicle teams.

This role will be based at our Head Office in Nottingham and will form part of the larger Business Development team. The successful applicant will report to the Business Development Enterprise Team Leader.

This is a performance driven position and will rely on self-motivation, leveraging both local and national resources.
The role involves interaction with customers and a professional manner in order to reflect the business’s core culture of professional conduct.

Role Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads for the Vehicle Field Sales and Vehicle Disposal Executives by distributing contact reports
  • Maintain and report all prospecting data via customer contact reports and the Customer Relationship Management tool, updating details as necessary
  • Work with the Marketing team to produce eye-catching and relevant e-literature for distribution to specific customers
  • Walk potential customers through the John Pye selling and purchasing process with a strong understanding of our terms and conditions
  • Point customers towards the relevant contacts at our various locations for specific enquiries
  • Categorize leads by geographical area, customer type and prospect level
  • Feedback any relevant conversations and lead progression with the Head of Vehicles and Marketing
  • On-board successful prospects into the relevant databases

Job purpose

Carry out full range of porter duties at Port Talbot vehicle pound

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety and Environment policies are observed at all times
  • Receive vehicles into the compound,  prepare the car for auction, photograph the vehicle for sale.
  • Assist customers when viewing and when vehicle collections take place.
