We are delighted to announce we have been awarded Asset Valuer/Auctioneer of the year at the 2019 Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) awards.
This will be the record breaking fifth consecutive year we have taken home this accolade, after winning for the first time in 2015. In 2017 we were the first finalist in the national awards history to take home an award three consecutive years and broken our own record in 2018 and now once again in 2019.
The annual TRI awards are independently judged by a panel of leading industry professionals and celebrate excellent practice and best value in the turnaround, corporate restructuring and insolvency across the UK.
The judges were impressed by John Pye’s scale of assignments and our active approach to the work. The feedback continued stating that our entry demonstrated a solid multi-asset service offering and a variety of good case studies where the John Pye team reacted quickly across a variegated range of asset types.
Judges at the TRI Awards are looking to recognise nominees who show evidence of offering non-stop excellent value, consistent maximisation of recovered value from assets, technical excellence and innovation and evidence of tackling complex cases and overcoming challenges within the turnaround, restructuring and insolvency sector.
Our Business Assets Department manages over 25,000 instructions per year providing clients with a variety of services, from valuations to sales, on a wide range of assets types by using multiple sales mechanisms nationwide.
Our submission and supporting evidence showed our quick turnaround, particularly on a large national administration where we provided stock, intellectual and tangible property valuations and sales advisory for a successful sale.
Working alongside the John Pye Property Department we were able to, within 48 hours of the initial instruction, deliver valuation of stock, intellectual property consisting of the trading name and a large range of trade names as well as multiple lease reviews.
Our Managing Director, Adam Pye said: “To win Asset Valuer/Auctioneer of the year for a record breaking fifth year running is an immense achievement for our Business Assets department and I could not be prouder of everything the team have achieved this year”
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised in the industry for the work we do. We’ve had an excellent 2019 and look forward to an even better 2020”
“As always, this wouldn’t be possible without the continual hard work and support of all my John Pye colleagues who go above and beyond every year”.
