Leisure Overview

John Pye Auctions has an extensive track record of leisure stock auctions, acting on behalf of leading UK department stores, leisure Retailers and on leisure store liquidations.

Our substantial premises provide a suitable outlet for large leisure stock holdings to be showcased to the secondary market, alongside home and garden retail offerings.

We regularly auction large volumes of bicycles, ranging from entry level road bikes to high end competition road and track bikes on behalf of some of the biggest names in retail cycling. These auctions also offer leisure wear and accessories.

We have been also appointed as agents by Insolvency Practitioners to auction gym equipment on many occasions, managing machine weights to free weights.

These regular auctions have amassed a large and loyal following of secondary market buyers, ranging from end users to UK grassroots sports clubs (cycling, football, cricket, rugby), gyms and independent traders.

Our continual John Pye Auctions brand sponsorship across multiple sports since 2012 (Nottingham Forest main club and shirt sponsors, Notts County Cricket shirt sponsors & sponsors of World Champion boxer Carl Froch) has also provided national platforms to engage with large sports audiences to promote such stock offerings through partnership platforms.
