John Pye & Sons were instructed to relocate, market and sell a wide range of yellow civil and construction plant ranging from Dumpers, Backhoe Loaders, Excavators along with Commercial Vehicles on behalf of the Liquidators of this Corporate Insolvency.

Reaction time was key to secure the assets, which were relocated to our 11 acre ex-MoD asset facility in Marchington, Staffs. Finance agreements were instantly settled by John Pye & Sons in order to protect equity in the asset holding for the benefit of the creditors. To optimize presentation for both marketing & sale, rolling plant and vehicles were cleaned, company logos removed and trade adverts placed along with a three day telemarketing campaign to construction companies across the UK.

The auction offering was managed in the shadow of a post Credit Crunch recession, when the construction industry was still weak but the auction proved a success generating over £180,000 with the plant being sold to UK buyers showing grass shoot signs of recovery.
