Company details to be disclosed on web sites and in e mails

From 1 January 2007, there are additional requirements for disclosing company information on company websites, business letters and and emails.

Websites, business letters, emails and order forms must now include:

  • the company's name
  • place of registration
  • registration number
  • address of registered office

The company name must also appear legibly on

  • invoices
  • receipts
  • orders for goods
  • cheques

There are also requirements regarding bills of exchange, promissory notes, endorsements, orders for money and letters of credit and specific regulations for investment companies and other special cases.
